This is a commission piece made with solid red oak. The client wanted it to match another wall piece that is also red oak, so I stained this new one. It measures 36" long by 12" tall. It has top and bottom caps with some cove moulding along the top cap. The antique hanger hardware was provided by the client. I inset keyhole hardware on the back to it hangs flush on the wall.
A friend commissioned a set of three of these. He wanted something reminiscent of Frank Lloyd Wright and after looking around I found a prairie style cover made from stained glass. I think the ambrosia maple mimics the look of white stained glass pretty well. Also contains mahogany and walnut. Alison liked it so much she asked me to make her one. These are challenging and rather painstaking to build but I'd love a chance to build more. Let me know if you want a set!
I built this for a good friend. I had been wanting to build a piece of wall art, so this provided the opportunity. It's made from walnut, maple, and mahogany with a red oak frame. Alison - as is often the case - provided invaluable consulting on the design. I'd love to make another piece like this if you'd like one!
This was a labor of love for an old and dear friend. It seems his old wicker napkin holder was falling apart and I was touched he reached out to me to make him a new one. He gave me the dimensions and we worked together on the rest of the design. We settled on ambrosia maple with a copper handle. The inside dimensions are 7" x 7" x 5". It was a rewarding build and I'd love to make another one for you for $55.

This kittie is a companion for the elephant above, but if need be, they can be separated! Like its friend it's made with poplar and finished with acrylic paint. Measures 5 X 5 X 1. Pencils not included.
A new client ordered one of these based on a picture she saw online. My wife saw the picture and asked me to build us one. That gave me an opportunity to work through some design and build issues. It is made from poplar and beadboard. I primed it and put on two coats of latex paint. It measures 40" long by 10" tall by 8" deep. If you want one let me know. If you want yours painted it is $175. Unpainted it would be $150.

I custom built this for our next door neighbors. It features a pullout cutting board and acrylic panels on the top and bottom.
I had some nicely figured live edge cherry that sat in my shop for years waiting to tell me what it wanted to be. It turned out the perfect size and shape for this piece that holds two battery tea lights and a small vase for flowers.
My wife wanted this out of cherry wood. I made a few extras if you want one. Check out the In Stock page.

Another piece my wife asked me to build. The box is made with pine and the handles are copper. My wife did the painting. It's a wonderful centerpiece on our dining room table.
A number of years ago, my wife and I challenged to each other - each of us would build a dragonfly. She did a mosaic using broken tiles. I did this one using white oak, maple, and walnut. We posted pictures of each on our Facebook pages and had our friends vote. Although she won the contest, I still like mine.
